Get on your Vespa and discover typical Flemish polder villages such as Damme and the trendy coast town Knokke-Heist. Unwind in the nature reserve ‘t Zwin and feel the sand between your toes at Cadzand, the perfect spot for a delicious picnic full of local goodies.
End the day with a nice aperitif on a terrace in Sluis.
Recharge in the evening at the charming hotel The Black Swan in the center of Bruges and get lost in the cozy streets of this historic city.

During your two-day adventure, you’ll be navigating independently with your GPS. To ensure you see the region’s most scenic spots, we’ve mapped out the two best itineraries
The first day of your Micro Adventure will bring you to the Polders in the North of Bruges.
The second ride will bring you to some hidden gems on the west coast.
The Black Swan Hotel is a family-run hotel located in a historic building in the beating heart of Bruges. It’s the ideal base for your micro-adventure, just a stone’s throw away from the Market Square and the Belfry.
This charming three-star hotel has around 20 rooms, a cosy outdoor terrace and even a wooden hot tub that’s accessible until 10pm.
A perfect base to unwind after your trip, and enjoy a delicious breakfast (which is included) in the morning before setting of again and either discover Bruges by foot or hit the road again by Vespa.
On your first day you can pick up your Vespa between 9-11am in the Center of Bruges

Spend the night in a historic building in the beating heart of Bruges.
Driving License: To ride the Vespa, you must have a valid driver’s license A, B or AM. The Vespas are automatic, so you don’t have to use gears while driving.
The route takes you along winding roads to charming villages such as Damme and the trendy coastal town of Knokke-Heist.
On the beach of Cadzand or De Haan, you have plenty of time to enjoy a well-filled picnic basket full of local delicacies. There is an option provided for vegetarians among us. Be sure to indicate this during registration!
At the start of your fantastic scooter adventure you get a road book and gps.
This is where all our routes are loaded, various stops, recommendations for restaurants and cafes.
This gives you the freedom to independently explore the beautiful region such as the Flemish Polder villages, T ‘zwin at Knokke-Heist, Cadzand and other breathtaking nature reserves.

You can dine in several cozy restaurants or bars and in Bruges so you can reminisce.
After your overnight stay you can enjoy a full breakfast, which is included in your trip, before setting off again to explore.
There are a few different options:

If you come by car, you can find a few options to park.
You can park at ‘t Pandreitje for 15.8 euros per day. Another option is to use the park & rides around town, which are free and allow unlimited parking. You can also consider parking at Parking Centrum Station, which costs 6.10 euros per day. This option includes a bus ride to and from the city center for up to 4 people, which is convenient transportation.
When coming by train you can by a ticket on the website of the NMBS by clicking here you will need to get off at Bruges train station and then hop on bus 41, 14 or 4 which stops around the corner of The Vespa Trip Bruges office. All information can be found on the website of De Lijn.
Another option is taking a cab, which is about a 10 minute drive from the train station.
You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa you have two choices. Either you choose the omnium insurance (€ 19 per Vespa), where the own risk is € 0. If you don’t opt for this insurance, a deposit of € 250 is required for which you are liable.
While booking your Vespa you can choose for a cancellation insurance €21 p.p. This gives you the possibility to cancel or reschedule your trip for free. This way you plan your Bruges adventure without worries!
If you do not choose for a damage insurance, we ask to pay a deposit of 250 euro per scooter. This deposit can be paid at the earliest 7 days before departure.
